Call To Duty III.........

Every few years the metaphorical planets align and something extraordinary happens. For meteorologists this is the perfect storm, for surfers it's the perfect wave and for snooker players it's the 147 break. For paintball......it’s Call To Duty III.
Imagine a paintball game played on a secluded island where the only inhabitants are other paintballers.

An island that so remote that it takes 7 hours by ship to reach it from the closest city. This former top secret submarine base is honeycombed with miles of underground tunnels, bunkers and festooned with abandoned machine gun nests and fortified positions. It’s straight out of a James Bond Movie.
Imagine a game where players are inserted by attack boats equipped with military grade communication equipment, where players scuba dive into the game after being clandestinely inserted off shore. Imagine a game where players launch attacks from hidden submarine docks and fight their way through miles of underground tunnels inch by inch in the inky blackness.
Imagine an experience where you fish for your own dinner, or dive using a snorkel and pluck shellfish off the seabed to BBQ for your evening meal.
What you've just imagined is the worlds greatest paintball event. What you've just imagined is............Call To Duty III.
Call To Duty III will take place on the Island of The People's Republic of Guerrillastan, located in the eastern Adriatic sea. The Island is located by sea from the Croatian city of Split on the Dalmation coast. The event dates are Friday 15th July 2011 until Monday 18th July 2011.
Tickets are limited to 150 and will be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis when they go on sale on Tuesday April 12th at 1200 hrs GMT (London Time).
The event is organised and run by Al Murray and Tim Barnett of Guerrilla Paintball but will be operated by Shoreline Travel Ltd. Due to the nature of the event, all players must be aged 16+ and any players aged 16-18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Guerrilla Paintball is a new format of paintball that is proving to be highly popular in the UK and Europe. Guerrilla paintball is unashamedly gritty, dirty and often hazardous and therefore requires all participants to be completely self sufficient. At Guerrilla games are is no tech support, no traders and nobody to help you if you arrive unprepared. Due to the uncompromising nature of the games , risk of injury is ever present and a good level of physical fitness is required. For Call To Duty III, no player will be accepted unless they are capable of swimming up to 100m fully clothed. If you are a poor swimmer, either undertake a recognised swimming course between now and the event or do not buy a ticket.
The venue for Call To Duty III is an abandoned chain of 4 islands in the eastern Adriatic sea. The only people present on the islands will be fellow players. The islands are extremely remote meaning that any casualty with a serious injury will need to be airlifted off the island by helicopter. In times gone by, the islands used to act as a secret submarine base and navel outpost and the underground tunnels, bunkers and above ground machine gun nests and fortifications have been left completely untouched since the military abandoned the facility in the 1970's.
Over the past quarter of a century we have played paintball all over the world in some fairly impressive venues but in our opinion, nothing comes even remotely close to the venue for Call To Duty III. In short, it is simply the best place to play a paintball game on planet earth.
